PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH WIPES DOWN YOUR TOILETS!
The wipes container may say the wipes are flushable but the wipes get hung up in sewer pump stations and cause the pumps to stop working. Public Works receives an alarm about the pump not working an responds to the scene to resolve the issue. Not flushing wipes down the toilet will help prevent a sewer system failure and interruption of service. These wipes might flush down the toilet but end up getting hung up in the pumps.DO NOT FLUSH WIPES!
