Mayor and Council Districts 5 & 6

The City of Harrington will be conducting an election on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm for the following:

Mayor – Term to Expire June 7, 2021
District 5 – Term to Expire June 1, 2020
District 6 – Term to Expire June 1, 2020

The City of Harrington election petitions for the positions of Mayor, Council Member for District 5, and Council Member for District 6 are available to be picked up at City Hall, 106 Dorman Street, Harrington, Delaware between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and are also available on the City’s website http://harrington.delaware.gov (see below). Candidates must live in the City of Harrington in the District for which they are running, be at least 18 years old, be qualified to vote, and have no felony convictions. Petitions must be returned to City Hall, 106 Dorman Street, no later than 4:30 pm, April 4, 2017 to the Clerk of Council or it cannot be accepted.
